Video: Korean Anti Aging Skin Care Tips For Every Age – The Traditional Korean Medicine Guide to Skin Aging
Discover some Korean anti aging skin care tips for every age, based on the principles of Traditional Korean Medicine (Hanbang).
While treatments like botox and fillers might offer a quick and effective solution to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, they only work at a surface level and fail to address root causes of skin aging. In Eastern Medicine, and Traditional Korean Medicine in particular, skin aging is understood as the manifestation of the changes happening inside our bodies as we grow old.
Understanding these changes and how they affect our bodies, it’s the key to slow down the aging process. In this video, I’ll tell you about the dynamics of the natural aging process in Traditional Korean Medicine, and how skin care products based on these principles (also known as “Hanbang Skin Care” products) can help your skin age slower and better.
If you’re already familiar with Eastern Medicine, TCM or TKM, you might feel I oversimplified some concepts, but please understand that I’m trying my best to make complex concepts accessible to a wider audience who’s not necessarily familiar with the general principles of Eastern Medicine ๐
However, if you don’t know much about Eastern Medicine and would like to learn more about the concepts I discussed in this video, I recommend you to check out the โYellow Emperorโs Canon of Internal Medicine”, the book where these theories originate from.
