How to apply the product

If you’re a first-time user:
Start by applying a small amount to the areas of concern. Use less than half of the usual amount of essence. To allow your skin to adapt, use it every other day for two weeks. It’s best to apply it at night.

Once you’re accustomed:
If you don’t experience any discomfort during the adaptation period, you can increase the amount and apply it daily.

Directions:
Once you have applied toner, lotion, and an essence or serum, take a sufficient amount of the product and apply it to the areas where wrinkles and other signs of aging are most noticeable. For optimal results, consider finishing off your routine with a cream as the final step.

TIP: Retinol + Retinol. Layering technique to address both wrinkles and elasticity.

Retinol Guide

  • When you start using “Retinol Expert 0.1% Wrinkle Corrector” for the first time, begin by using it every other day for two weeks. After that, you can start using it every evening once your skin has adapted to it. It’s normal to experience a tingling sensation, redness, and even flaking and peeling skin.
  • Before applying IOPE’s “Retinol Expert 0.1% Wrinkle Corrector”, make sure to thoroughly apply toner and lotion. Alternatively, you can apply enough cream as the final step to minimise any potential irritation. This same approach applies to managing wrinkles on your neck as well.
  • Keep in mind that your skin may become more sensitive to sunlight while using this product. So, remember to use sunscreen during the day to protect your skin.
  • It’s advisable to avoid using any scrub or peeling products, beauty devices, or any procedures that may cause irritation to your skin while using “Retinol Expert 0.1% Wrinkle Corrector”.
  • Due to the nature of retinol, you may notice that the colour of the product may darken or it may have a peculiar odour.
  • To preserve the freshness and potency of retinol, store the product away from high temperatures and direct sunlight.

How to open the product

STEP 1: Grab the ring and pull it to remove it.
STEP 2: Twist the cap counterclockwise all the way through.
STEP 3: Twist the cap again in the opposite direction.

  • After closing the cap, remove the label and you’re ready to use the product.
  • Do not pull the cap to open.
  • Steps 1 and 2 are only necessary when opening the product for the first time.

Directions

At night, after applying an essence or serum, dispense the desired amount of product (approximately the size of a grain of rice) and apply it to the areas most affected by wrinkles, such as under the eyes, around the mouth, between the eyebrows, or on the neck.

Recommended order of use:
Softener (or Toner/Balancer/etc) > Emulsion (or Lotion/etc) > Essence (or Serum) > IOPE Retinol Expert 0.1% > Eye Cream > Cream 

Precautions

  • When using retinol, the skin may become sore and red, and you might experience accelerated skin cell turnover and peeling skin. Make sure to read and understand the user guide before using.
  • If you are using “Retinol Expert 0.1% Wrinkle Corrector” for the first time, start by using it every other day for the first two weeks, then transition to daily use after three weeks.
  • “Retinol Expert 0.1% Wrinkle Corrector” can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight. Please apply sunscreen throughout the period of using this product.
  • Do not use “Retinol Expert 0.1% Wrinkle Corrector” in combination with a scrub or peeling products.
  • Immediately stop using the product if you experience any abnormal reactions such as red blotches, swelling and/or itchiness while using the product, or in case such symptoms appear when the skin is exposed to direct sunlight after use.  If condition worsens after regular use, consult a dermatologist.
  • Do not use the product on open wounds.

Storage and handling precautions:

  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight.
