⬥ The first step toward anti-aging begins with refining the skin’s outermost layer
When the skin’s 28-day turnover cycle becomes longer, it results in a build-up of dead skin cells, more noticeable pores, and skin aging.
Skin turnover cycle:

The first step toward anti-aging begins with refining the skin’s outermost layer.

⬥ A first-step essence to prepare the skin
As the first step of your skincare routine, The History of Whoo’s “Cheongidan Rejuvenating Pro-Radiance Refining Essence” helps prepare the skin by meticulously refining its texture and minimising the appearance of pores.
⬥ Skin texture:
The History of Whoo’s “Cheongidan Rejuvenating Pro-Radiance Refining Essence” has been shown to improve skin texture with continued use, resulting in a smoother-looking complexion.
blob count5:

[5] “Blob” refers to the enclosed area formed by the intersection of lines corresponding to the direction of skin texture. Relationship between blob count and skin texture:
- Skin texture: The blob count reflects the uniformity and texture of the skin surface. An increase in blob count may generally indicate that the skin texture has become smoother and more uniform.
- Indicator of skin condition: The number and distribution of blobs help assess overall skin condition. For example, a high count of evenly distributed blobs may indicate a healthy skin condition.
In the images showing improvement in skin-texture density, the areas outlined in green are the blobs.
Density of intersecting lines6:

[6] Relationship between density of intersecting lines and skin texture:
- Skin elasticity: A higher density of intersecting lines is associated with greater skin elasticity, resulting in a smoother and firmer skin texture.
- Hydration retention: A higher density of intersecting lines enhances the skin’s ability to retain hydration. When the skin retains sufficient hydration, its texture becomes softer and more supple.
- Skin strength: A higher density of intersecting lines is associated with stronger, more resilient skin, contributing to a more uniform and firm texture.
Line intersection count7:

[7] Relationship between line intersection count and skin texture:
- Skin texture: The pattern and number of intersecting lines reflect the microstructure of the skin surface and are directly related to the look and feel of skin texture.
- Signs of aging: An increase in intersecting lines, or changes in their depth, may be a sign of skin aging, which present as changes in skin texture.
- Indicator of skin health: The number of intersecting lines reflects the health condition of the skin. Healthy skin exhibits a more uniform and dense number of intersecting lines.
