Olive Young Awards and Festa 2019
Beauty awards season is in full swing in Korea and the Olive Young Awards represent the ultimate recognition for beauty brands. The retailer recently revealed the best K-Beauty products of 2019 based on 100 million customer purchase data collected from 1 October 2018 to 30 June 2019.
Olive Young is by far the most popular beauty and health retailer in Korea. Their beauty awards are especially important in the industry because they reflect actual purchasing trends and not some beauty editor’s personal picks.
The winners were announced during the annual “Olive Young Awards and Festa” that celebrates the retailer’s anniversary since 2014.
The ceremony, titled “The Journey to Real Beauty”, took place at S Factory in Seoul on 29-30 November. The event gave the audience a chance to learn about the 92 winning products in dedicated areas, as well as explore the new beauty trends of 2020.
