[1] t/n Traditionally ginseng has been mainly valued for its roots, as they are known to contain the highest concentration of ginseng saponins, whereas “Jeoncho” (전초, 全草) refers to the entire ginseng plant, including its roots, leaves, and stems. “Ginseng Jeoncho” is highly valued for including a rich array of biological components in addition to ginseng saponins.

Wild Red Ginseng Jeoncho, encompassing the entire Ginseng plant, from roots to stems and leaves.
The History of Whoo’s “Jin Yul Hyang Anti-Wrinkle Oil Serum” is formulated with Wild Red Ginseng Jeoncho, a deeply and intensely nourishing ingredient that works to restore the skin’s natural strength and smooth texture.
Although Wild Ginseng is already precious in its natural form, it becomes Wild Red Ginseng Jeoncho through the traditional “Gujunggupo” (구증구포, 九蒸九曝) process, which involves steaming and drying the Wild Ginseng plant for nine times. In comparison to the sole roots of Wild Red Ginseng used in the previous version of The History of Whoo’s “Jin Yul Hyang Anti-Wrinkle” line, Wild Red Ginseng Jeoncho has been shown to provide a greater skin firming effect.
